Kanye West has reportedly finished his new album, and sources close to the rapper say it’s darker than his previous work.
The Watch the Throne collaborator has been in Paris recording new music for the past few months, and he’s been flying out different artists that he’s collaborating with.
This album will be the follow-up to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and New York City radio DJ Peter Rosenberg is dishing about it.
“I just heard that Def Jam had a listening [session] last week, and everyone at the label listened to the album and loved it. I heard it’s dark, but really good,” he said, Idolator reports.
West is gearing up to perform on Saturday Night Live on its finale on May 18, so it looks like he will be performing some new material.
He’s also gearing up to become a father this summer, as his girlfriend Kim Kardashian is expecting their first child in July.
