Will Ferrell’s The Spoils of Babylon was among the comedies IFC announced earlier this year and now we know who is going to star in the Anchorman actor's soap opera parody. Kristen Wiig and Tobey Maguire have signed on to star.

As we previously reported, Spoils is to be produced by Ferrell and his Funny Or Die.com partner Adam McKay. It will be just six episodes.

Deadline confirmed on Monday that Maguire and Wiig will play members of the Morehouse family, which is rich thanks to their oil business. Their lives are filled with booze, heartache and illegal activities. Wiig and Maguire who now lead the business, while Ferrell plays the Shah of Iran. Maguire was adopted by Wiig’s character and her father.

Andrew Steele (SNL) wrote the script, while Farrell’s Case de mi padre director Matt Piedmont is directing.

Wiig and Ferrell both star in Anchorman 2, which McKay is directing. She’s also set to host Saturday Night Live in May.

Maguire recently starred in The Great Gatsby, which opens on May 10.
