Directed by John Wells, August: Osage County, revolves around a rather dysfunctional family from Oklahoma, whose patron of the family, Meryl Streep, is dying from Mouth Cancer. With a role like this, Merly Steep is a shoo-in for a possible 4th Oscar.
According to The Los Angeles Times the star studded movie features company such as: Ewan McGregor, Abigail Breslin, Julia Roberts, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliette Lewis, Chris Cooper and Sam Shepard. With co-stars like these, there’s no way this movie won’t be a block buster hit.
The movie deserves some much needed attention by Oscar watchers according to Hufffington Post. The movie by Tracy Letts’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, takes viewers on a journey that states: “Life is very long,” according to Weston family Patriarch, Beverly, who announces this at the beginning of the trailer.
Produced alongside Oscar giant, Harvey Weinstein, George Clooney joins the Film riding co-pilot. Fargo composer Carter Burwell, and Oscar Winner from the movie Traffic Stephen Mirrione plan on taking this movie to the ultimate award winning level.
Due out November 8 2013, August: Osage County have many expectations being based off an award winning play, but none the less it seems to be on its way to complete stardom.
