The Big Bang Theory had a huge night Thursday, easily helping CBS beat Fox and American Idol, which fell again. NBC’s Parks and Recreation also rose a bit for its season finale.

CBS had 12 million viewers and a 2.7 18-49 rating on the night. Big Bang was the most-watched and highest-rated show Thursday night, drawing 15.7 million viewers and a 4.6 18-49 rating, according to The Wrap. People still love Bob Newhart, who guest starred on the show. Two and a Half Men was up to 11.9 million viewers and a 3.1 key demo rating, while Person of Interest had 12.8 million viewers and a 2.4. Elementary hit a new low with 9.5 million viewers and a 2.0 18-49 rating.

Fox had 8.1 million viewers and a 2.2 18-49 rating for the night, notes HitFix. Idol reached another series low with just 11 million viewers and a 2.5 18-49 rating. You can check out our recap here. Glee finished with 5.2 million viewers and a 1.8 18-48 rating.

ABC averaged 6.8 million viewers and a 2.2 18-49 rating. Wife Swap had 3.62 million viewers and just a 1.1 18-49 rating, while Grey’s Anatomy had 8.5 million viewers and a 2.9. Scandal had 8.1 million viewers and a 2.6 18-49 rating. Of those shows, only Grey’s was up, notes THR.

NBC finished in fourth with 2.9 million viewers and a 1.4 18-49 rating. Community was up to 2.8 million viewers and a 1.2 18-49 rating, while a special Office had 3.5 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating. Parks & Recreation’s finale had 2.9 million viewers and a 1.5 18-49 rating, which was slightly up. Hopefully that’s enough to get it renewed. Hannibal had just 2.5 million viewers and a 1.0 18-49 rating.

Over at The CW, The Vampire Diaries pulled in 2.13 million viewers and a 0.9 18-49 rating. Beauty & The Beast had 1.26 million viewers and a 0.5 18-49 rating.
