Boston music legends James Taylor and Aerosmith are just two of several artists who have signed on to perform at Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration, which is scheduled for later this month. The event will pay tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings last month.

Taylor and Aerosmith will be joined by Boston, New Kids on the Block, the J. Geils Band, Godsmack, Extreme, Steven Wright, Dane Cook, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, and Carole King for the show, which will be hosted at the TD Garden in Boston on May 30, reports Boston.com. Proceeds from the tickets will go to The One Fund Boston, which was set up by Gov. Deval Patrick and Mayor Thomas Menino.

“Like so many other proud Bostonians who have been extremely generous, we are honored to step up and do our part to help the victims and their families,” Donnie Wahlberg, a member of NKOTB and a Boston native, said in a statement to USA Today. “Hopefully this event will not only raise money, but spirits as well.”

“I am honored to be a part of it, and…I can’t wait,” Taylor said.

Ticketmaster and LiveNation will start selling tickets on Monday, with tickets from $35 to $285 available.
