Director Noah Baumbach is back in theaters with Frances Ha, a black & white comedy that stars Greta Gerwig. The Oscar-nominated writer of The Squid and the Whale is already working on a new project that will star Naomi Watts and Ben Stiller. The latest addition is Les Miserables star amanda Seyfried.

The Wrap first reported on Wednesday that Seyfried was joining the film, which is titled While We’re Young. She will play the love interest for Girls’ Adam Driver and they will play a free-spirited young couple who befriends an older married couple played by Watts and Stiller.

Baumbach has been trying to film this script for a few years and told Indiewire that he had written it before Frances Ha. “At one point I thought I was going to make it first but things didn't come together so I made Frances in the meantime, but I think it's coming back together in a really great way,” he told the site when he was promoting Frances Ha.

While We’re Young will be produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush.

Seyfried is currently working with Seth MacFarlane on A Million Ways To Die In The West and is also attached to Z For Zachariah with Chris Pine. She also appeared on Ellen Degeneres today to chat about things outside her movie career.
