As I lay Dying's Tim Lambesis pleads not guilty

Front man of As I Lay Dying, Tim Lambesis, pleaded not guilty to allegedly attempting to hire someone to kill his wife, Meggan Lambesis, on Thursday.
Lambesis’ bail was set at 3 million by North San Diego County Superior Court Judge Martin Staven. Staven also ordered Lambesis to avoid contact with his wife and their three adopted children from Ethiopia, while also staying in San Diego County according to Reuters
District attorney Claudia Grasso said Meggan Lambesis filed for divorce in September. The couple has been married for eight years according to Reuters.
CBSreports Lambesis gave a man $1,000 in cash, a picture of his wife, her address, the security gate code, and times he would be with his children to give him an alibi. If Lambesis is convicted he faces up to nine years in prison. While on tour in August Lambesis emailed his wife to tell her he did not love her anymore and no longer believed in God Grasso said. Lambesis believes that his acquaintance from the gym is setting him up the prosecutor said. The acquaintance from the gym is whom Lambesis asked to help him find someone to kill his wife. Then, the friend from the gym then arranged a meeting with an undercover Sheriff’s Department detective to give the money and information to Grasso said. Lambesis’ requirement to stay in San Diego County, which will affect his career and earning money. “The band has a tour scheduled. There’s many people who depend on him.
