Lindsay Lohan has settled into rehab at the Betty Ford Clinic in California, and now her parents, Michael and Dina Lohan, might be summoned there to undergo family therapy with the actress.

Lohan is one week into the mandatory 90-day program she was sentenced to in her lying to cops case, and her counselors think resolving her family issues with her parents might be what it takes to keep her sober.

“Families are encouraged to participate in group therapy,” a source told RadarOnline. “Lindsay’s counselors want to get Dina and Michael to Betty Ford for a series of sessions in the next few weeks. They feel like having her work through her family issues could help Lindsay’s recovery.”

But when Dina was asked about having her family reunite, she denied it. “Where did you hear that from? News to me! I have a warrant for child support against him… he owes thousands in back child support,” she said.

Michael, on the other hand, seemed more willing, telling RadarOnline,”ll be there for anything she needs. I will gladly attend, like I’ve always wanted to. It’s the only thing that will give Lindsay resolve and a chance to finally have her life and both parents back in her life. This is about Lindsay, not Dina or me. Our family needs healing and that’s the only way Lindsay is going to beat this.”

ETOnline notes Michael and Dina finalized their divorce in 2007 after being married for 22 years. They have four children; Lindsay, Michael, Ali and Cody.
