Bruce Springsteen’s movie Springsteen & I” will be shown in theaters on July 22 around the globe.
Directed by music video director Baillie Walsh it includes Springsteen’s music and performances and is generated by Ridley Scott according to Billboard.
Springsteen & I was created after people making made a request for fans to send in videos recording of their personal insight and reflections on how Springsteen and his music affected their lives Jam Bands reported.
“This beautifully crafted film allows us a unique and powerful insight into the relationship between a recording artist and the impact he has on those who connect so profoundly with his music,” Scott wires on the film’s website.
Springsteen, his label, Columbia Records, and his management are all in support of the project. The film was announced in November and the production team said they want to follow the same ideas they had with Life in a Day, which consisted of footage from July 24, 2010, from around the world.
Tickets for the movie go on sale June 4.
