Carly Rae Jepsen is talking about making more music with her boyfriend Matthew Koma.
The “Call Me Maybe” singer sang a new song “Take a Picture” Wednesday night on American Idol Ace Showbiz reported.
“With ‘Call Me Maybe’ it was just like a pleasant surprise to me that it took off. So I think I’m just going to keep that mentality of not really focusing on the success of music and just more focusing on making good music, and I feel like that way, you can never go wrong,” the 27-year-old singer told E!.
Jepsen is contently songwriting and has a list of artist she’d love to work with. She worked with Nicki Minaj on the remix of her song “Tonight I’m Getting Over You.” One person on her list is her boyfriend Matthew Koma.
“I would definitely work with my boyfriend Matthew Koma again. Believe it or not we’re like super-professional when we get into the studio together. We met while working on ‘The Kiss’ and I think because of how we met, we pop right back into that professional behavior,” Jepsen said.
Jepsen said her list includes Justin Bieber and NeYo.
"I met him [NeYo] at the Grammys . . . and I'm actually really inspired by the songwriting he's offered so far. So I'd be down with getting in the room and seeing if we could make something cool together."
