Chase Aden is an emerging pop starlet from Toronto. Aden has finished her self-titled EP and is waiting to see the reaction she receives from her fans to make her next move.
The Canadian native has always had a love for music. It runs deep in family ties with her parent’s passion for music, which encouraged Aden to follow her dreams.
Aden knew from an early age that she would pursue music as a career. Aden said, "I could have chosen other dreams to follow but I knew I would never be as happy as I am now if it didn't involve music." According to Chase Aden .
Aden’s music is a combination of a catchy pop sound combined with a soulful country twist. Her musical influences come from all over. Aden has said that she loves old country and pop music. Thus has created her individual sound.
The EP starts out with the song “Pretty Little Thing” which is an upbeat pop song. Following is “Get With You” starts off with a slower tempo and then mimics the bubbly pop sound of the first song.
“Heartsick” showcases Aden’s country vibe. Aden is expressing her obsession for her lover with the lyrics, “I’m heartsick so amorous oh baby I’m feeling kinda dangerous/ I’m heart sick need a quick hit/ Oh sugar tell are you feeling this/I know what I’m gonna do/ When I get alone with you.”
Next is “Hold On” and “Spoke Too Soon” which mirrors the same country sound. The last song “Secret Agent Lover” does a full circle and returns to the catchy pop rhythm that started the EP.
Aden’s EP is only the beginning to her music stardom. The tracks are a consistent combination of sweet pop and heartfelt country harmony.
