Although Jaden Smith is dating Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, The Smiths say this will not change the way he was raised.

According to MTV, both these families were granted with the blessing of fame, but how they received the fame and what they do with it are two different things. In a recent interview with Vulture about their new movie, After Earth, The Smiths revealed that they are more interested in how they can shape the world with their fame then finding ways of keeping it:

"Fame is almost an inconsequential by-product of what we’re really trying to accomplish," said Smith.

He added "We are trying to put great things into the world, we’re trying to have fun, and we’re trying to become the greatest versions of ourselves in the process of doing things we love. So the idea of fame or exploitation or orchestrating the media is sometimes even less than desirable for us," when being asked about the Kardashian family business.

It may seem as though The Smith children were pushed to being in this business but they were in fact not. He believes that they choose their own avenue and since it is acting he can be of more assistance because he knows the business in and out:

"I would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that's going be everywhere in the world. He is making a choice from the informed," said Will Smith. In fact he added that after "Whip my Hair" Willow decided that all she wanted to do was be 12 years old.

“Daddy, I’m done.” I was like, “Wow, wow, wow. No, baby, I got Annie [the upcoming movie remake, co-produced by Jay-Z], you know. It’ll be New York, you’ll be with Beyoncé. You can bring your friends.” And she said, “Daddy, I got a better idea. How about I just be 12?” At the end of the day, it has to be their choice," said Smith.

At the end of the day fame is the by product of their passion and their successes of what in fact makes them happy; It is not a breeding operation. After Earth is due out May 31st.
