Demi Lovato can add Director to her resume.

Earlier this month, the 20-year-old "Heart Attack" singer shared photos on her Twitter account where she was directing a video shoot.

"Doing something verrryyyy exciting today....... Can you guess what it is???” she teased on May 1 before revealing her role as director. “Something I've never done before..... #DEMI.”

While the singer said it "may or may not" have been for her own video for her song “Made in The USA,” there is a good chance it is, since her captions for the photos had the hashtag “#Demi," the name of her new album.

During a sit down with MTV News, she opened up about directing her first video. She admitted it was a dream come true.

"I had a lot of fun and I think I found a new passion… I always wanted to do it when I was younger, then I just had the opportunity this time and I was like 'oh my god I have to take advantage of this,’” she said.

Lovato recalled how the opportunity came about. She said she had a ton of ideas for the shoot, and after she went to her manager with all these ideas he suggested that she take part in directing it.

"I was just directing other people and that was pretty awesome," Lovato said. "I got really into it, I was like yelling."
