Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, has lost custody of her twin boys with the Anger Management actor and ironically, his other ex-wife, Denise Richards has gained custody of them.
After many failed rehab attempts, the Los Angeles County Dept. Of Children And Family Services has taken Bob and Max away from Mueller.
“Brooke was given many opportunities by social workers to clean up her act. Social workers felt that Bob and Max weren’t safe in Brooke’s care,” a source said, according to Perez Hilton.
Continuing that the boys were taken away on Thursday, the insider also said “It’s expected at some point the boys will be taken care of by Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Denise Richards, who has cared for them in the past when Brooke went to rehab."
E! Online reports that Richards has been given temporary custody of the boys. She has two daughters with Sheen, Sam and Lola, and an adopted baby as well.
In December, Richards took the boys in when Mueller was in rehab for Adderall dependency.
"She hasn't lived in her house for a few weeks," a source told E! of Mueller’s recent behavior. "They don't know where she's at. It's been so bad."
The insider added, “Charlie is completely supportive of it and wants what's best for the boys. Charlie will probably have a better relationship with the boys now. Everyone is glad they'll have some stability."
