On May 18, Kim Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram of what could be the album artwork for Yeezus.
Details surrounding his recording sessions remain scarce, but he has been in the studio with electronic music duo Daft Punk. Rolling stone interviewed Daft Punk and they revealed details about the overall sound of Yeezus, “It was very raw: he was rapping—kind of screaming primally, actually. Kanye doesn’t give a fuck.”
On May 20, "Yeezus" was available for preorder on iTunes and Kanye's official website for a short amount of time before it was taken down. The preorder revealed that the album 14 tracks unnamed tracks listed, the first 13 clocking in at 3:02 and the last at 3:01.
