Many have dreamed of the day that televisions spewed aromas into homes across America. Each commercial would bring a new allure and people would flock to the best smelling restaurants. Well, Domino's is through waiting. A new promotion by the pizza giant will bring the smell of their product into any home playing certain DVDs.

According to UPI.com, Domino's in Brazil is coating DVDs with a product that smells like pizza when heated as played. The DVDs look like pizza and the movies are reconfigured to display a message at the end of the films encouraging viewers to enjoy their next film with a Domino's pizza.

While this promotion is possible in locations like Brazil, where movie rental stores are still prolific, the streaming sensation in the United States would make the practice unprofitable. But Domino's will not neglect the internet-savvy.

As reported by Digital Trends, Domino's will begin streaming live footage of pizza preparation to online buyers. A Domino's pizzeria in Lehi, Utah has five cameras which purchasers can stream footage from in order to watch their food be made. This is a trial run to see if a fad is possible.
