Iron Man 3 actress Gwyneth Paltrow recently spoke to a group of mom bloggers for Babble.com, where she opened up about costar Robert Downey Jr. and her own spinoff movie.

40-year-old Paltrow spoke about her exciting role as Pepper in the third Iron Man film, stating that it's quite different from anything else she's done before. "She’s in the suit and flying around, and I loved doing the stunts. As I said, I really had never done anything like that before and it was really fun. I felt like I should’ve been doing this my whole life. It’s like, 'Why am I doing all these period films? It’s so boring,'" Babble reports.

She went on to say that the reception she has gotten from fans and journalists alike has been amazing, some even suggesting that she deserves her own spinoff movie. "The nice thing is that everybody’s sort of been very sweet about Pepper in this movie, like all the journalists who came in. They were like, 'Oh my God, you have to have your own movie,' because in the comics, Pepper gets her own suit, and she becomes a character called Rescue. They’re like, 'We need a Rescue movie', and I’m like, 'Okay, well, I’d better hit the gym.'"

Paltrow also revealed what it was like to work with costar Robert Downey Jr. and his unconventional way of doing things. "Robert would come in and read the scene and rip it up, and be like, 'Nope, we’re not doing it.' He’s like, 'This is bullsh-t. Let’s make it up.' And poor Jeff Bridges would be dying. He had memorized everything."

Paltrow said she preferred not to take sides during filming and tried to find a happy medium between the two.

She did cause quite a stir, however, at the Iron Man 3 premiere in Hollywood last month, when she appeared in a gown with sheer sides, revealing that she wasn't wearing any underwear. She compared the incident to being named People's most beautiful woman, stating, "I went from being the most beautiful to the most humiliated."
