The annual FYF Fest or F Yeah Fest announced their 2013 line up.
The fest is keeping its indie and alternative band reputation by having they Yeah Yeah Yeahs headline the first day and My Bloody Valentine headline the second day.
Support for the first day include TV on the Radio, Flag, Deerhunter, Devendra Bandhart, The Breeders, Roky Erickson, STRFKR, Thee Oh Sees, Charles Bradley & his Extraordinaires, Toro Y Moi, Death Grips, Simian Mobile Disco, Ty Segall, Dan Deacon, Nosai Thing, Title Flight, Delorean, Omar Soulevman, Eleanor Friedberger, Joyce Manor, Foxygen, Horse Meat Disco, Metz, Crystal Antlers, The Underachievers, and Waxahatchee.
Support for the second day include MGMT, Beach House, Solange, Yo La Tengo, Washed Out, Holy Ghost!, The Melvins, Les Savy Fav, Shlohmo, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Flume, !!!, Jonathan Richman, Baroness, Poolside, Touche Amore, Mach Demarco, Glasser, How To Dress Well, Chelsea Wolfe, The Orwells, Classixx, Mikal Cronin, Guards, Pional, Fear of Men, Lemuria, and Antwon.
The festival is August 24-25 at the State Historic Park in L.A.
The FYF Fest site says more bands are going to be added and comedians will be added in mid-June.
Single-day tickets are $65. Weekend passes are $99. Both tickets go on sale at noon PST on May 16. VIP tickets are also available for the weekend.
