Kylie Minogue turns 45 today!
Kylie Ann Minogue was born in Melbourne, Australia debuted her acting career before being a pop diva, by appearing in soap operas, for instance, The Sullivans, The Henderson Kids, Neighbours, and Skyways.
Her soft, Soprano-ranged vocal talent was firstly recognized during a benefit concert. She sang "I Got You Babe," as a duet with actor John Waters.
Minogue's debut single, entitled "The Loco-Motion" spent seven weeks in the first place in Australian chart and the highest-selling of the decade.
Ever since, she had so far produced 9 albums, and achieved worldwide records sales of more than 68 million. She had also garnered ARIA, Grammy, Brit Awards, and Australian Mo Award.
The singer was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II few years ago for her "services in music."
She had begun working on her next studio album ever since the spring of 2012. The album was reported to feature Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Sia, Fernando Garibay, Darkchild, and Nervo.
Other than music, Kylie Minogue had been active in cancer and health research, and quality of life ever since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.
