Olivia Culpo turns 21 today!
Born in Cranston, Rhode Island, Olivia Culpo, whose fame skyrocketed because of pageantry, firstly got her beauty pageant title in her hometown as Miss Rhode Island 2012, at the end of 2011.
She then went off to Boston University, and entering nationwide Miss USA 2012 pageant, and took home the title. After winning the title, her hometown Cranston celebrated her title by holding a special homecoming celebration for her. The Cranston mayor gave her the key of the town, to celebrate her winning.
After the 2012 Miss USA,Culpo, who had Puerto Rican, Irish, and Italian descent, entered Miss Universe 2012. Culpo took home the title Miss Universe 2012, succeeded then-outgoing titleholder, the Angolan Leila Lopes.
Holding the Miss Universe 2012 title, the pageant queen, who at first, tried her career in music, traveled around the world to help in pageant-related event. She went to Indonesia to help crowning the country's pageant Putri Indonesia 2013 last January, Miss World 2012 and Miss Russia 2013.
