The Dark Knight Rises actor Joseph Gordon Levitt will take on a role like nobody has ever seen before in his upcoming directorial debut Don Jon.

Levitt is set to play a porn-addicted man from New Jersey who develops unrealistic expectations from his addiction, Zap2It reports.

The newly released trailer reveals Levitt telling the audience, “There's only a few things I really care about in life: My body, my pad, my ride, my family, my church, my boys, my girls and my porn." Levitt, who wrote the screenplay and directs, stars alongside The Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza, Glenne Headly and Brie Larson.

According to CBS News, when the film debuted at the Sundance Film Festival it was originally titled Don Jons Addiction. The film sold for $4 million to Relativity Media.

After the movie sold Levitt confessed, “Everyone told me it was a long shot. Now Relativity is making it happen. Tucker Tooley and Robbie Brenner told me they believe that, more than anything, audiences want something unique. I couldn't agree with them more. I admire them for putting their money where their mouth is. And I couldn’t possibly be more grateful.”

The film is slated to hit theaters October 18.
