Instead of premiering a music video on the expected sites like, VH1, MTV, or YouTube, Kanye West decided to premiere his new music video “New Slaves,” on the side of 66 different buildings around the world.

According to MTV, about 100 fans gathered around the New York location to view the projection of Kanye West's new video "New Slaves." The video was to be viewed on the corner of 14th street, and 10th avenue. Although the truck airing the video was nearly an hour late, it did not seem to phase the viewers at all, due to the fans shock and awe moment looking up at Kanye’s giant face on the sides of buildings.

Baller Status had said that the rapper had tweeted about the premier of the video through his twitter account saying:

"NEW SONG AND VISUAL FROM MY NEW ALBUM BEING PROJECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE GLOBE ON 66 BUILDINGS, LOCATIONS @ KANYEWEST.COM," Ye tweeted (@KanyeWest) Friday evening (May 17).

On his website KanyeWest.com, it shows a map that corresponds to the 66 places and buildings the video will be projected in, along with the 10 cities.

According to Billboard, his new album following his 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is rumored to have a release date of June 18th.

He is also scheduled to perform his song “New Slave,” on Saturday Night Live this Saturday.
