Katie Couric is in many ways America's sweetheart, working her way up the news station ladder to hosting her own program Katie, so it is some surprise that he interview earlier this week with Howard Stern revealed so much of her unknown relationship history. Among her many public romances, Couric spilled that she once dated Bob Saget and Jeff Pobst, and that Michael Jackson was interested in her.
According to The Huffington Post, Couric sat down to an interview with Stern on SiriusXM radio earlier this week and submitted to his questions regarding her somewhat private past. Couric aficionados recognize her previous, date with Larry King and her long-term relationships with Brooks Perlin and her current fiance John Molner. However, what many didn't know is that she was once courted by Bob Saget and Jeff Pobst.
Couric told Stern that there was no magic between her and either of those gentlemen. Saget is best known for playing the patriarchal Danny Tanner on Full House and for displaying crude jokes and inappropriate times. As reported by theCeleberityCafe.com, Saget has been accused of making explicit drug references in front of his young TGIF costars.
Pobst is known for hosting the hit reality television program Survivor.
The list of potential suitors does not stop there. The New York Daily News reports that Michael Jackson expressed interest in the Today host, having his rabbi contact the program to inquire on Couric's availability. Unfortunately, a date never came from the correspondence. Couric does express regret at not having dinner with the musical sensation.
