McDonald's has long been a flagship for American entrepreneurship and innovation. But a nine-year-old girl has taken the fast food chain to task for building unhealthy habits into children under the guise of cartoons and toys.

According to Good Morning America, Hannah Robertson, a nine-year-old girl, attended a McDonald's shareholding meeting in Illinois and gave the CEO of the company a firm scolding. The CEO, Don Thompson, is accused of leading a company that tricks children into eating unhealthy food through advertising gimmicks like Happy Meals.

KUHF.com reports that Robertson is the daughter of food blogger and nutritionist Kia Robertson, who was attending the meeting as part of the group Corporate Accountability International.

You can listen to the interaction at ABC News. Thompson's response to Hannah is thorough and focused on the changes he is trying to instill at McDonalds, including an increase in the amount of fruits and vegetables available at the restaurants.

And change for the giant industry is a must. According to USA Today, the company is lagging in the crucial millennial market. Members of that generation prefer not just health choices, but socially conscious businesses.
