R&B artist, Miguel, may soon feel the repercussions of his poorly timed leap across his screaming audience during the Billboard Awards because the girl he landed on is now considering legal action.

The incident happened last Sunday in the middle of Miguel’s performance of his song “Adorn.” In order to get from one platform to another, the singer took a running start then catapulted himself over the heads of his waving fans, we reported.

Miguel landed butt-first on the stage, but his flailing feet kicked two girls in the face, while his leg pinned a third girl by the neck.

The show continued on, but E! News now reports that one of the victims, Khyati Shah, is considering taking legal action against the singer.

A lawyer explained that Shah was “in shock and star struck” at the time it happened but has been experiencing “difficulties” since the inadvertent dropkick.

Miguel initially made a public apology on Twitter, writing: “got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay.”

The tweet has since been deleted.

Shah will decide on whether to move forward with a lawsuit after she gets back the results of her medical examination.
