Muse, Mumford & Sons, Blur, and Coldplay are back the War child charity to win a gran of £500,000 (around$760,000).

Rolling stone reported the groups have given support to War child hoping fans will for the charity and award them the prize.

According to NME, War Child is included in Google UK Global Impact Challenge along with 10 other charities. The new digital project is aimed at reducing sexual violence and supporting vulnerable children in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo.

If War Child is awarded the grant they will use free helplines and SMS technology to give children support and look to use the technology to target responses and maximize their aid.

Mumford & Sons said, “Our friends War Child are in need of your voting support.” Blur added, “Help our friends War Child wind £1/2 million to protect children from sexual violence. Please vote.”

War child received the Special Recognition Award at this year’s BRIT Awards marking its 20 anniversary.

Voting ends tonight at 7 p.m. EST. People can vote at Google. Other bands that have supported War Child in the past include Iggy Pop, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie and many more.
