Cleveland Indian's first baseman Nick Swisher and wife JoAnna Garcia have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.
Gossip Cop reports that the couple welcomed their daughter on Tuesday. They have not revealed the name of their daughter at this time.
According to Us Weekly, the former Yankee gushed about becoming a father just weeks before his daughter was born saying, “I am so excited. I never in a million years thought I'd have a little girl, but over the last six months, the pink and purple dresses that I've bought, I'm telling you. . . My wife, Jo, she says, 'You're going to spoil that little girl so much.' I can't wait, man.”
He adds, “I talk to her every night. Jo and I, we're so excited to meet her and to bring her in the world and give her a whole lot of love."
Swisher made the transition from playing for the Yankee's to becoming an Indian after signing a four-year $56 million free agent contract last year.
His wife of nearly three years is an actress who has appeared in guest spots on Reba, cancelled series Animal Practice and Better with You.
