Dancer and pop singer Jesse Malakouti and Ausralian twin DJ duo Nervo both recently made cameo appearances on the online reboot of One Life to Live.
Many music fans know that Malakouti was the opening act for Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj’s 2011 Femme Fatale world tour. She’s also been associated with other superstars in the electronic dance music genre such as Kaskade, Rusko, Steve Aoki, and Avici.
In their cameo appearances, both acts rocked out at the show’s newest nightspot, Shelter. Malakouti played an aspiring musician named Dusky, who performed a snippet of her hit “White Girl Wasted” while on another episode, DJ duet Nervo spun their electronic dance magic.
In the behind the scenes clips below, Malakouti describes her experience on set and what it was like to perform on the show and Nervo reflects on their DJ’ing on the classic soap opera.
