Stars of the upcoming film "The Hangover Part II" expressed their remorse for the victims of a recent tornado that touched down in the Oklahoma City area Monday.
The cast of the film celebrated its premiere in Los Angeles Monday night and sent their thoughts and well-wishes to all those affected by the disaster.
Actor Ed Helms told Entertainment Tonight News he was keeping the families affected throughout the Midwest in his prayers.
"I grew up in Georgia and we had tornadoes," Helms explained the ET. "But it was nothing...I mean I've just seen some footage that is absolutely incredible."
One of the film's other stars, Zach Galifianakis, said the victims were on his mind even as he walked the red carpet that night, according to USA Today. Galifianakis said that "just like with any disasters, you feel silly doing a red carpet thing," but he hopes "things will turn up" for Oklahoma residents.
According to early reports, authorities declared as many as 51 people were dead. The Boston Globe reported more recently that medical examiners have declared 24 deaths as of Tuesday morning. Teams continue to search to rubble for more survivors.
