Apparently a superman comic found on the walls of a recently bought abandoned house was worth more than the $10,000 he bought the house for.

At an old abandoned house in Elbow Lake, Minnesota., a man named David Gonzalez, had found an old comic book amongst the other ancient newspapers in the walls. According to USA Today, this old comic is not just an old comic book. It is in fact the 1938's Action Comics #1 which is the first appearance of Superman.

Starting at an auction bid of $113,000, normal copies of Action Comics #1 without a single flaw are worth more than $2 million. Seeing as though Gonzalez’s copy has been kept in a wall in complete isolation for many years it is in rather poor condition. Being a very fragile book, the slightest pull can rip a page out. Of course following Murphy's Law, this is exactly what happened when his wife’s aunt had taken a look at the copy. Hurrying to take it back, Gonzalez grabbed the comic ripping the back cover. According to the co- owner of the auction that was a $75,000 tear:

"I brought my wife's auntie to see the house and she got excited, she said oh, look, this is worth money,'" Gonzalez said in over phone interview. "I said, I know, don't touch it, don't touch it,' and she kept grabbing it and grabbing it.”

"Just leave it alone! Little pieces kept breaking off.”

According to The New York Daily News it had been in that wall for more than 70 years, and has never been resold:

"It's pretty miraculous that it even survived and it's only had one owner."

What does he plan to do the money wants sold? Well with having four kids and a family it is a no brainer in his eyes:

"I want to be a provider for my family and this will help me," "It's going to help me finish paying my house, paying my truck, and save a little bit of money and let my wife finish her school and me upgrade my work," says Gonzalez.

Among the other things he also has his eye an old fashioned Camaro that he has always wanted, except I think now he can finally afford it:

I always wanted a 1992 Camaro IROC Z28, I think I have enough money to buy my Camaro now."
