The Beatles’ 1965 movie Help! is coming to Blu-ray.

Help! was restored in 2007 for its DVD release earning five-times platinum sales in the U.S. This follows the release of The Beatles’ digitally-restored “Yellow Submarine” and “Magical Mystery Tour” films on DVD, iTunes, and Blu-ray.

48 years after its theatrical release a remastered Help! is not too far away being released this June. This is the band second featured film and it is filled with extras.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock the film features a remastered 5.1 soundtrack, a 30-min documentary about the making of the film, outtakes, memories from the cast and crew, and an in-depth look at the restoration process. Director Richard Lester shares some memories and behind-the-scenes footage on the films as well.

Other extras on the Blu-ray release include two original U.S. trailers and one Spanish trailer and U.S. radio spots from 1965 according to Billboard.

The announcement was made today via the official Beatles’ website. The Blu-ray version is set to arrive in Australia on June 21, June 24 in Europe, and June 25 in North America.
