A display of never-before-seen photos of The Rolling Stones will be up in London at Proud Chelsea on June 13 to July 28.
According to NME the rare 1960s pictures will make the display titled, The Stones And Their Scene. Eric Swayne’s son Tom discovered the photos after his death in 2007.
Rolling Stone reported that along with the photos of Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts, the display will also showcase photographer David Bailey and Anita Pallenberg, Patti Boyd and Catherine Deneuve and others who were shooting informally at Swayne’s studio.
“I discovered a beautiful trove of unseen images: Mick shot informally in Dad’s studio, just test shots for a friend, and Keith and Charlie too – a whole series of them fooling around in Dad’s flat with Chrissie Shrimpton. . . Some of the sweetest images are of Pattie Boyd, who Dad dated before she married George Harrison,” Tom said.
The Rolling Stones will finish up their “50 and Counting” tour in North America and then will be heading to England to perform.
