Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx must have enjoyed working together on Django Unchained last year, since the two are reuniting for Mean Business on North Ganson Street, a film set up at Warner Bros.

According to Deadline, the studio acquired the new S. Craig Zahler novel specifically as a film to star the two actors. DiCaprio will also co-produce through his Appian Way banner with Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Warner Bros.’ Sarah Schechter.

Zahler’s novel is still without a publisher. The Wrap reports that DiCaprio would play a disgraced detective sent to a Missouri town where crime and violence is on the rise. Foxx is a local detective who was recently demoted. They team up to find the killer of several police officers.

Foxx currently appears on Roland Emmerich’s White House Down, while DiCaprio will next be seen in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.

The two appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained last year, with DiCaprio playing the sadistic plantation owner and Foxx as the title character.
