Seems like Amanda Bynes is getting the chance to fulfill her recent dream of becoming a rap star. The retired actress and child star has been offered a record deal with Chinga Chang records.
According to the Huffington Post, Chinga Changa records, is a small based in the East Coast. Producer Daniel Herman founded the group in 2003 and reported that he offered the deal to Amanda earlier this month. He’s partnered up with The Orchard and Sony Entertainment, and reached out to her lawyers and attorneys for permission.
Daniel Herman said, "She's phenomenal and that's the crazy thing about this." He also went on to tell The Huffington Post during a phone call Tuesday morning, "This is the perfect home. This isn't just a gimmick."
The Easy A star has been making headlines recently for her arrests, run in with the paparazzi, and her appearance, which has changed tremendously. Bynes has also been ranting on her, now verified, Twitter account to celebs, calling them “ugly.” The Daily News confirmed that pop star Miley Cyrus was a recent victim of that.
Herman said he has yet to secure a contract with the 27-year-old, but he is "beyond confident" that she will sign the deal. Looks like he won’t have any trouble getting her to do so because earlier today Bynes took to Twitter, yet again, to tell fans: “I'm so looking forward to recording my album and going on tour! I can't wait to see you all at my concerts!”
Can you see the star being a successful rapper? Fans will have to wait and see, whether or not, she actually has the skills.
