Demi Lovato has announced that her second single off of her album Demi, following “Heart Attack” will be the patriotic “Made in the U.S.A.” The single will hit the airwaves this Thursday.
Lovato explained that she co-directed the music video for the single, which should come out sometime next month. She also teased there would be some “special surprise actors” in it.
The singer, 20, and X Factor judge told MTV News that helping direct was a “dream come true.”
"I always wanted to do it when I was younger, then I just had the opportunity this time and I was like, 'Oh my god, I have to take advantage of this.' So I came up with the idea for the treatment and I told my manager this is what I want on this second and on this shot and this to happen... and want this camera to pan that way and he was like, 'Why don't you just direct it?' and I was like, 'OK!' " she explained.
Lovato missed a few audition days for X Factor this past weekend due to her father dying.
