The Vans Warped Tour has been a summer getaway for punk music fans across America for the past 19 years. After attending the festival for so many consecutive years, fans are looking for something more. So here is your personal guide to getting backstage at the Vans Warped Tour:

The easiest option to get backstage would be with non-profit, Music Saves Lives (MSL). MSL purpose is to collect blood donations and offer rewards to music lovers for doing so.

Months before the tour begins, MSL organizes blood drives across America for Warped Tour fans to donate at. When you donate, get a picture of yourself donating blood and send it to MSL.

Once the picture is received they will send you a pass in the mail. The first 100 donors to the MSL tent the day of their show with this pass, receive a black wristband allowing them to go backstage on all the stages at anytime during the show, excluding the two main stages.

For those who are scared of needles, try the yellow volunteer tent at the gates of each venue. The tent will be looking for volunteers to help out with catering at each show.

This will allow you to get a free ticket into the show and an opportunity to serve your favorite bands. Only a limited number of people are needed, so get to the show early to secure your spot.

Something to do in advance is join a street team. Whether it is Fearless Records, Alternative Press, or PETA2, this is a great chance to get backstage.

Street teamers help out at the tent, assist with meet and greets, and get to go backstage. The only downfall is that you have to be a part of the team for a good period of time before the tour begins in order to be selected to help out.

Whichever option you choose, enjoy your time backstage and bask in the experience of a lifetime. Good luck!
