Dwight Howard has finally made a decision. He is going to take his talents to the big screen.
According to Deadline Howard is lending his voice to the movie Free Birds. Howard will play Cold Turkey, who is part of a group of turkeys that travel back in time in hopes of getting turkey off of the menu for Thanksgiving.
The film is being produced by Relativity and the sports division of Relativity represents Howard. The film has a release date of November 1.
The film also stars Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson, Amy Poehler, George Takei, Colm Meaney, Danny Carrey, Josh Lawson and Dan Fogler. It is directed by Jimmy Hayward.
This is not the first time Howard has appeared in movies. According to imdb Howard made appearances in The Three Stooges, Just Wright and The Cleveland Show. Although in each of those roles Howard played himself.
Howard has been a hot topic of lately and not because of his acting skills. Howard played for the Los Angeles Lakers this past season but he is about to become a free agent, so Howard must make another decision as to where he is going to play next season.
