Actress Gwyneth Paltrow shows off her sexier side in the newest trailer for Thanks for Sharing.
The Stuart Blumberg directed comedy stars Paltrow alongside Mark Ruffalo, Tim Robins, Carol Cane and Pink (Alecia Moore) and focuses on a group of sex-addicts coming to terms with their dependencies. The film was quickly picked up by Lionsgate at the 2012 Toronto Film Festival, LA Times reports.
Paltrow stars as Phoebe, Ruffalo’s love interest who must come clean about his sexual addiction to his new girlfriend. In one scene Paltrow is seen in black lacy panties and bra, thigh highs as she slides down the wall saying, “Hey, baby, you want to dance?”
Ruffalo discussed the difficulties of playing his character Adam, who meets Paltrow when he is five years sober, living a very uninteresting life. “I almost find him grotesque in the beginning,” Ruffalo explained at the Toronta Film Festival. “He’s so staid and controlled and oddly phony. Then you see him get turned on and all of a sudden you see, 'Oh, that’s Adam too.' I wondered if, performance-wise, I could do that.”
Pink also stars as a sex addict who befriends fellow therapy goer, Josh Gad.
The film gives insight to addiction, the group therapies as well as the turmoil it causes in everyday life. The film hits theaters September 20, 2013.
