Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson have welcomed their second child together, a son, Sunday afternoon via scheduled C-section.

Simpson’s rep confirmed the exciting news to Us Weekly saying, “Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great. Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."

Ace joins the couple’s 1-year-old daughter Maxwell.

Rumors that the Fashion Star mentor was expecting her second child started just 7 months after Simpson and Johnson welcomed baby Maxwell. After attempting to dodge the reports the blonde beauty finally relented and confirmed the news in an adorable Twitter post featuring Maxwell sitting in front of a hand written announcement, “Big Sis.”

The singer attempted to keep the gender of her unborn son a mystery, however, during a March interview she slipped which discussing her troubles with morning sickness saying, “The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous. Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"

Us Weekly notes that baby Ace’s middle name, Knute, honors his father’s Swedish grandfather, Knute Johnson.

Congratulations to the parents!
