Kanye West is getting criticized for a lyric regarding Parkinson’s disease on his new album Yeezus.

Parkinson’s UK accused Kanye of “stupidity and cruelty” regarding the lyric in Daft Punk produce track “On Sight” that says, “A monster about to come alive again/ Soon as pull up and park the Benz/ We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s” according to NME.

“People with Parkinson’s have to cope with intolerable social discrimination on a daily basis – often to the point where they are afraid to go out in public – and this sort of thoughtless, callous comment can only serve to make things even worse for them,” The Parkinson’s UK’s Chief Executive Steve Ford said in a statement.

According to The Guardian one in 500 people suffer from Parkinson’s. The neurological disease is caused by loss of brain cells that produce dopamine. Symptoms include tremors, pain and rigidity of movement. There is no known cure.

A vice-president at the American Parkinson Disease Association Kathryn said to TMZ, “We find [West’s] lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.”

Kanye has not responded to any of the criticisms.
