On June 9th at the Governer's Ball, Kanye West performed "I Am a God", "On Site", "Black Skinhead" and "New Slaves" from his upcoming album Yeezus.
During one of his usual mid-performance rants, West declares that he could care less about radio play: "You know with this album, we ain’t drop no single for radio[...]Honestly, when I listen to radio, that ain’t where I wanna be no more."
“We ain’t got no big NBA campaign or nothing like that,” West also says, possibly taking a shot at Will.i.am, “S-, we ain’t got no cover. We just made some real music, you know, like back when I used to make albums and s—.”
Yeezus is set to be released on June 18. So far the tracklist has not been released officially but iTunes may have "accidentally" revealed the names of the tracks when Yeezus was available for pre-sale last month.
