Kanye West was joined by Scott Disick, Jonathan Cheban, and the crew of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to film an American Psycho themed music video.

In Touch revealed that admidst celebrating his 36th birthday and preparing for the arrival of his daughter with girlfriend Kim Kardashian, West is hard at work promoting his new album.

“Yeezus”, which drops June 18, will be the rapper’s sixth solo album, and sources say that though West has done very little promotion for the work, he was hard at work shooting what he hopes to be a viral video to encourage fans to purchase his new music.

The video features Kardashian’s sister Kourtney’s baby daddy Disick and the reality stars friend Cheban who (spoiler alert!) “actually gets killed in the end.” The video was shot over the course of a weekend in Brooklyn, New York.

“Kanye is definitely on edge and nervous about how this album will sell,” the insider added, “He won't promote it the normal way, and he wants to create buzz with all these weird, secret demonstrations.”

Contrary to this inside scoop that the “I am a God” singer is “nervous” for the album release, MTV News reports that the aforementioned “weird, secret demonstrations” are actually a clever marketing ploy conjured up by West.

In a miniature rant between songs during his performance at New York’s Governor’s Ball, the rapper told the audience, "We ain't drop no single to radio. We ain't got no big NBA campaign or nothing like that--Sh-- we ain't even got no cover. We just made some real music."
