Madonna says she cried due to exhaustion on ‘MDNA’ tour

Madonna says she cried because she was exhausted some days during her “MDNA” world tour.

Those scenes will not be included in her behind-the-scenes concert film, “The MDNA Tour.” The film premieres Saturday on EPIX. The film will include highlights from her performances in Miami according to Billboard.

“There’s no such thing as not in the mood because the show must go on, right? I’m a human being like everybody else, so I would have my nights, my bad nights and I would cry and I would say, ‘I don’t want to do this,’ Madonna said on Tuesday at the film’s premiere in New York.

Madonna said before the shows everyone gathered into her dressing room to pray. “50 percent of the time I said them and 49 percent of the time I was crying.” Associated Press reports.

The tour included design help from her 16-year-old daughter, Lourdes, and featured her 12-year-old son, Rocco, as a dancer.

The concert film will be available on DVD on Aug. 27.
