Michael Jackson’s son Prince, took the stand for the wrongful death trial involving his late father and This Is It concert promotion company AEG. The oldest of his children, now 16, recalled the scene on his father’s bedroom the day he died.

Tearing up and undergoing some voice shakiness, Prince recalled hearing a scream from his father’s bedroom the day he died four years ago. When he went upstairs to see what was going on, he saw his father laying halfway off the bed with his eyes rolled back and a doctor performing CPR on him.

CBS News reports he also recalled his sister Paris, then 11, screaming for their father and he says he comforted his siblings by telling him angels were taking care of him.

In the days since his death, he says his sister Paris (who is recovering from a suicide attempt) has taken it the hardest and the youngest sibling, Blanket, hasn’t really come to terms with it yet.

"Nothing will ever be the same," he said in court.

Prince also testified that he found out his dad was dead when Dr. Conrad Murray, now serving four years in jail for manslaughter, told them “Sorry kids, Dad’s dead,” The Beverly Hills Courier reports.

He also talked about overhearing phone calls between his dad and AEG Live President and CEO Brandon Phillips in the days leading up to his death. After one of those phone calls ended, Prince said his dad told him “they’re going to kill me.”
