Miley Cyrus dropped her new single “We Can’t Stop” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Monday morning (June 3) after weeks of teasing her fans.

According to MTV the song was produced my Mike WiLL Made-It and co-written by Miley. The song is making a statement about Miley being all grown-up by referencing party drugs such as Ecstasy or Molly as its been named. Miley sings on the chorus, “We like to party/ Dancing with Molly/ Doing whatever we want.”

Miley announced the release of “We Can’t Stop” on the Cambio blue carpet at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, Billboard reported and confirmed the single would lead her upcoming fourth studio album.

Miley said to Seacrest the song was recorded a year ago with Mike WiLL Made-It and the single is dedicated to her loyal fans.

“I think I keep getting more connected with a sound that’s my own. I love making music, so I’ve just been in the studio working.”

The music video for the single was shot last week in Los Angeles with producer Mike WiLL Made-It and a clip will drop next week. There is no release date for the upcoming album.

“I feel like I can really be myself,” Miley said of her next album. “I really have more of a connection of who I am, and I feel like I can maybe express that more in my music now.”
