With Father's Day a mere week away, it was a true delight to spend bed time tonight reading Katrina Germein's My Dad Think's He's Funny with my children.

It is a corny series of one liners between a father and son that makes you smile from beginning to end. The book contains so many typical dad jokes we've all heard our whole lives growing up. "And when I say Dad, I don't want to, he says okay, then do you want three?" was a common dinner laugh in my house. I laughed at "When mom says I"m just going to jump in the shower, Dad says that sounds dangerous," as my very own husband said that to me in front of the kids just last week.

Illustrator Tom Jellett does a fantastic job of using bright colors and different fonts to keep the reader's attention as well as outlining "the eyeroll" in 4 funny pictures as well as creating a maze to the bathroom.

My Dad Think's He's Funny is the perfect Father's Day gift. It will have you wondering if the author contacted your father for notes as well as providing an innocent laughter.
