Ron Burgundy and his team are back and better than ever in the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues .
"I'm gonna do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this earth to do: have salon-quality hair and read the news,” Will Ferrell as Burgandy states according to Us Weekly.
With the new film taking place in the 80s and the return of a stellar cast, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Vince Vaugn, Christina Applegate, Fred Willard and Chris Parnell, as well as the addition of Harrison Ford, Megan Good and Kristin Wiig, the gang is now prepared to take on a new task: a 24 hour news channel.
Wiig takes on the role of Carell’s love interest. In the trailer the hilarious Bridesmaids actress is seen telling Carell, “I like the parts of your face that are covered with skin.”
In May, two new promos for the film surfaced online.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues hits theaters December 20.
