Prince released another new single “Ain’t Gonna Miss U When U’re Gone.”

The pop start worked on six-minute song with singer/songwriter Ledisi according to NME and is the follow-up to his release of “FIXURLIFEUP” in May.

Other new music Prince has recently released include “Rock and Roll Love Affair,” “Screwdriver,” and “Breakfast Can Wait” via his 3rdeyegirl website. The latest single is available for an $.88 download via 3rdeyegirl.com.

Prince has not only been putting out new singles for his upcoming album Plectrum Electrum but he has been making memorable performances at this year’s SXSW and the Billboard Music Awards, not to mention destroying instruments with Jimmy Fallon.

SPIN reports The Purple One was confirmed as a guest on Janelle Monáe’s upcoming album The Electric Lady, which has a September release date.

“We are great friends, and he is a mentor to us, to me. It’s a beautiful thing to have a friend – someone who cares about your career and wants to see you go far and to push boundaries and shake up the world – give whatever they possibly can to the cause,” Monáe said.
