Ringo Starr is writing a children’s picture booked that is based on the Beatles hit “Octopus’s Garden.”

According to the Telegraph, Aliens Love Underpants will be published in October and illustrated by Ben Cort. Starr is the narrator of the children’s television series Thomas and Take Engine & Friends. The book will also come with a CD including an exclusive reading by the drummer and a never-before-heard version of the song. “Octopus’s Garden” was written under Starr’s real name Richard Starkey for the 1969’s Abby Road.

Starr will publish a new e-book Photograph, that features never-before-seen photos taken by the Beatles’ drummer.

The e-book is set to publish on June 12 the same day the exhibit Ringo: Peach & Love opens in Los Angeles. Select photos from the book will be displayed in the exhibit CBS reports.

“We always had a real photographer around us . . . who took a lot of photos of the Beatles for our album covers. But I took pictures of them photographing us – and I had a unique perspective of that incredible period of our lives,” Star said to Mirror. “That’s why my new e-book, Photograph, is so special. Because these are the shots that only I could have taken.”

The photos range from Starr’s childhood in Liverpool during the forties, to his life on the road.
