Former Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin has teamed up with Fox News to return as a contributor.
The former Republican governor of Alaska, who previously worked with Fox earlier this year before moving on to other projects, has returned to her post with Fox News releasing a statement saying according to Newsday, “The power of Fox News is unparalleled. The role of Fox News in the important debates in our world is indispensable. ... I am pleased and proud to be rejoining Roger Ailes and the great people at Fox.”
Following her early 2013 departure, rumors that Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Alias referred to Palin has "stupid" began to surface.
Alias is now praising Palin’s return saying, “I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming. I hope she continues to speak her mind."
When Palin worked for the network earlier this year, she signed a $1 million a year contract. It is unclear if she has signed on for the same amount this time around.
